As part of the Dacorum’s Dragon Apprentice Challenge, our team will be hosting a series of Parish Breakfasts to raise money for Sunnyside Rural Trust, a local charity that provides training and work opportunities for people with learning disabilities. The Parish Breakfasts are a great chance for parishioners to come together after Mass, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and support a meaningful cause within our community.
Our first Parish Breakfast will take place at St Mary and St Joseph Church, Boxmoor, on Saturday 2nd November, following the 8:30am and 10:00am Masses. We’ll be serving a tasty range of breakfast favourites, including bacon and sausage baps, croissants, pain au chocolat, tea, coffee, and juices. Everyone is warmly invited to join us in the Parish Centre for good food, conversation, and community spirit.
Our second Parish Breakfast will be held at Corpus Christi Church, Tring, on Saturday 23rd November, after the 9:00am and 10:30am Masses. We hope parishioners will come along to the hall to enjoy drinks, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere, all while helping to raise funds for a wonderful local charity.
All proceeds from both Parish Breakfasts will go directly to Sunnyside Rural Trust, helping them continue their fantastic work in supporting people with learning disabilities through horticulture, farming, and other hands-on projects. Through the Dragon Apprentice Challenge, we’re proud to use these events to combine community connection, teamwork, and fundraising for such a worthwhile cause.
