Our First Fundraising Parish Breakfast: A Major Success!

We’re delighted to share that our first fundraising Parish Breakfast at St Mary and St Joseph Church, Boxmoor, was a huge success! Held after the 8:30am and 10:00am Masses, the event brought together parishioners, families, and friends for a morning filled with delicious food, great conversation, and a shared sense of community spirit.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic spread of bacon and sausage baps, croissants, pain au chocolat, tea, coffee, and juices – all freshly prepared and served with plenty of smiles. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with people staying to chat and enjoy breakfast together while supporting a meaningful cause.

The event was organised to raise money for Sunnyside Rural Trust, a local charity that provides training and work opportunities for people with learning disabilities. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and donated, we raised an impressive amount to help Sunnyside continue their incredible work within our community.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along, donated, or helped behind the scenes – from cooking and serving to setting up tables and cleaning up afterward. Your support made all the difference and helped turn our first Parish Breakfast into such a positive and memorable occasion.

We’re already looking forward to our next Parish Breakfast at Corpus Christi Church, Tring, later this month – and we can’t wait to see even more people join us for another morning of good food and good company, all in support of a wonderful cause
